HAMRO RUN CLUB RULES AND ETIQUETTE
In our running session:
-
While running in a group, stay put and do not run at any faster pace than the average group pace. This is to avoid gaps/separation of the runners. (Unless you are given a go-ahead by one of the coaches).
-
Be mindful of traffic signals and other path/road users. If you are in front, be aware that the people running behind you aren’t following you into oncoming traffic.
-
When running in a narrow path or on a road form yourselves in a single file. Run on the right side of the road/path to face the oncoming traffic where possible. If there is a bend and you are running on the right side, slow right down, stop, listen, and when it’s safe move to the left side of the road to see oncoming traffic from the bend and proceed.
-
If you are wearing headphones, bring the volume low so that you can hear the people around you for safety.
